By accessing and using the Light Stars Nursery School website and services, you accept and agree to be bound by the terms and provision of this agreement. If you do not agree to abide by the above, please do not use this website.
These terms apply to parents, prospective parents, students, staff, and any other visitors to our website and services.
2. Educational Services Agreement
If you enroll your child in our nursery school programs, separate enrollment agreements will be provided that outline the specific terms for our educational services.
Tuition & Fees
- • Tuition fees are due by the 1st of each month
- • Late payment fees may apply
- • Refund policies apply as per enrollment agreement
- • Fees for special programs/services are separate
Attendance & Participation
- • Regular attendance is essential for learning
- • Notify us 24 hours in advance for absences
- • Emergency contact information must be current
- • Medical conditions must be communicated
3. Website Usage Terms
Our website is provided for informational purposes and to facilitate communication between families and our school.
Permitted Use:
- • Viewing information about our educational programs
- • Contacting us for enrollment or information
- • Downloading allowed resources and forms
- • Sharing our website content with attribution
Prohibited Use:
- • Using the website for any illegal or unauthorized purpose
- •Copying, distributing, or reproducing content without permission
- •Attempting to gain unauthorized access to our systems
- •Posting harmful, offensive, or inappropriate content
- •Using automated tools to scrape or collect data

5. Health and Safety
Light Stars Nursery School is committed to maintaining a safe environment for all children. Parents and guardians have specific responsibilities in this regard.
Parental Responsibilities:
- • Ensure all medical information is updated and accurate
- • Communicate any allergies, medical conditions, or special needs
- • Update emergency contact information promptly
- • Discuss school routines and expectations with your child
- • Respect school policies and procedures
- • Pick up children on time and follow dismissal procedures
6. Payment Terms
If you enroll your child in our programs, you agree to pay the announced tuition and fees.
Payment Schedule
- • Monthly tuition due on the 1st
- • Registration fees due upon acceptance
- • Material fees billed as incurred
- • No refunds for voluntary withdrawals
Late Payments
- • Late fees: 10% of monthly tuition
- • Service suspension after 30 days
- • Collection costs may be added
- • Legal action for persistent delinquency
7. Termination of Services
Either party may terminate enrollment with appropriate notice. The school reserves the right to terminate services for various reasons.
School May Terminate Services If:
- • Non-payment of tuition or fees for more than 30 days
- • Violation of school policies or code of conduct
- • Behavior that endangers the safety of other children or staff
- • False information provided during enrollment
- • Circumstances beyond the school's control
Notice Period: Parents must provide 30 days written notice for voluntary withdrawal. School will provide 30 days notice for involuntary termination.
8. Disclaimer and Limitation of Liability
While we strive to provide the best possible educational environment, we cannot guarantee specific outcomes or be responsible for all circumstances.
Important Disclaimers:
- • Educational outcomes depend on many factors including individual development
- • We are not liable for illness contracted while attending school
- • Parents are responsible for transportation to and from school
- • Lost or damaged personal items are not our responsibility
- • Weather-related closures are at the school's discretion
9. Governing Law
These terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Rwanda. Any disputes arising from these terms or our services shall be resolved through the appropriate Rwandan legal channels. We encourage parents to first attempt resolution through direct communication with school administration.
10. Changes to Terms
Light Stars Nursery School reserves the right to modify these terms at any time. Changes will be communicated to enrolled families through our standard communication channels. Continued use of our services after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
